The following is the directions of the assignment used to create this step-by-step tutorial:
  • Make a digital resume! Create a list of the addresses of schools you've attended. Or you could use addresses of places you've worked. Or maybe addresses where you have lived. Or you could do some combination of these. Map these addresses using ArcGIS Online and share the link to your map.

The first thing I had to do for this assignment was to create a list of addresses. I chose to map where I live, as well as all the schools I have attended. The addresses used for this assignment included:

Summer Street, Middleboro MA 02346
6 Plympton St, Middleboro, MA 02346
Union Street, Middleboro, MA 02346
31 Mayflower Avenue, Middleboro, MA 02346
41 Mayflower Avenue, Middleboro, MA 02346
112 Tiger Drive, Middleboro, MA 02346
71 East Grove Street, Middleboro, MA 02346
131 Summer Street, Bridgewater, MA 02325

I then had to go on ArcGIS Online and search each address in the address search bar. At each location, I added a marker to save the location. As the title of each location, I used the name of the school. For each description, I included the address of the school. Finally, I added an image of each school. The title, description, and image gives the viewer an understanding as to what each marker on the map represents. After completing all components of the map for this assignment, the map was saved and shared to the public. The finished map can be viewed below.
